St Mary's Hospital Expansion Building, Sechelt, BC

St. Mary's hospital expansion project is the addition of approximately 60,000 square feet building to the existing hospital facilities. The addition will accommodate: 

• The expanding Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
• New inpatient beds, including labour and delivery rooms and an intensive care unit,
• above the Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
• Incorporation of design strategies and features that could achieve LEED GOLD
• certification for the project.

CES Engineering is hired by Vancouver Coastal Health as the project Commissioning Authority. The scope of work includes all building systems inclusive of architecural, building envelope, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, fuel supply systems, BMS controls, electrical distribution, lighitg and lighting control, energy and water metering systems, fire alarms, voice and data systems, nurce call, access control, security and patient entertainment system.
