CES Engineering was established in 1999 as a sole proprietorship owned by Boban Ratkovich. P. Eng. The company specialized in commissioning, testing and balancing and O&M Manual Services for Building Systems.
In January of 2006, CES Engineering was incorporated to CES Engineering Ltd. Since incorporation the company services have been increasingly focused toward commissioning of integrated building systems (integration of architectural, mechanical and electrical systems). Based on a diverse portfolio of notable completed and current projects CES Engineering Ltd. is a proven leader in British Columbia for the integrated commissioning services of complex architectural and engineering (A/E) systems.
Integrated commissioning services naturally led to the development of skills in energy simulation and performance measurement and verification. Since 2008 CES has applied energy modeling and measurement and verification[s] services to a number of projects in British Columbia. The experience gained though these services was used in developing a proprietary energy management information system.
In 2011 Boban Ratkovich and Slobodan Vukadinov founded Eco OPERA Systems Inc, a company that specializes in solutions for facility energy management, active energy efficiencies and performance optimization utilizing a proprietary energy management information system.
In 2011 the Canadian Government recognized CES’s achievements and technological advancements in the field of equipment energy efficiencies measurement and verification and has provided incentive funds for our work in this field from the Scientific Research and Experimental Development Program.
